JetBlue Flight Cancellations

All airlines cancel flights from time to time. Cancellations are frustrating and costly to the passenger, meaning that arrangements have to be changed at the last minute, for such things as hotels, tours and meetings.

But it is unclear sometimes why flights are cancelled. Sometimes planes are cancelled due to such things as mechanical failure, airport delay and/or closure and bad weather. Sometimes flights are cancelled well in advance of the scheduled departure.

Has one of your flights been cancelled by JetBlue?

How were you treated by JetBlue when notified of your flight cancellation?

Were the alternatives offered to you acceptable?

Any other issues, complaints or problems with JetBlue Plane flight cancellations?

  1. 'MY PLANE WON'T START, CAN YOU GIVE ME A JUMP' On April 1, 2012, Jetblue Flight #620 scheduled to leave at 6:40am from Hobby to New York JFK. Well apparently someone forgot to turn the headlights off so the plane would not start. Yes, the BATTERY was dead. They didn't have a backup plane (because ????) or plan like they normally would so they flight is grounded. I guess they couldn't get a jump from Southwest. All they had to offer was a food coupon.
